Nestled in the tranquil expanse of Batujimbar, Sanur, Cassablanca emerges as a captivating commercial villa, harmoniously blending the serenity of its surroundings with the allure of Moroccan-inspired architecture. Commissioned in 2009, this 720 sqm haven serves as both a holiday home and a commercial villa, offering a retreat away from the bustling commercial areas.
Sanur, specifically the quiet and secluded Batujimbar region, proved to be an ideal location for our client's second home. Drawing inspiration from the client's desire for Moroccan-style elements, Cassablanca was crafted with subtle nods to the distinctive shapes rather than directly adopting the colors and textures. The result is a unique fusion that tastefully incorporates Moroccan features, particularly evident in the bathroom designs and other carefully curated sections of the villa.
Comprising four bedrooms, a games room, and expansive garden and pool areas, the villa spans a total of 630 sqm. The main structure is characterized by two distinct phases, with one building extending across two floors. The presence of Alang-Alang thatch roofs imparts a natural and timeless ambiance, harking back to the glory days of utilizing natural materials.
The choice of Alang-Alang thatch roofs adds to the villa's appeal, providing a touch of authenticity and a connection to nature. Cassablanca stands not only as a commercial villa but as a testament to architectural finesse, offering a retreat that seamlessly merges Moroccan elegance with the timeless beauty of Batujimbar, Bali.
