The construction of new hotels is still concentrated in South Badung, such as in the areas of Canggu, Pecatu, Jimbaran, and Nusa Dua. Currently, Badung is the most favored region for hotel and villa development.
Around the year 2010, when Sunset Road started to become busy and land prices were already very high, investors began to consider hotel business. The aim was to create facilities that support tourism in Bali. The hotel building was intended to meet the demand for the desired number of rooms by the operator. Swiss-Bell-In Seminyak is a hotel managed by Swiss-Bell, and unfortunately, our architectural team from Jeghier Architect was faced with a structure that was almost 100 percent complete. We had to redesign the interior of the rooms and the facade of the building.
Many challenges and obstacles arose because we had to start changing the layout and creating a better flow. However, due to the existing structural conditions, adding other facilities became challenging. Additionally, because the back of the hotel faced a potential commercial road, our team at Jeghier Architect transformed the back of the hotel into a restaurant that could be accessed by the public. We also incorporated some office spaces that could be leased by others.
This hotel consists of 124 rooms in a four-story building, with each room covering an area of approximately 24 square meters.
