We named this residence the "Golf House" simply because our client, at the time, was immersed in the world of golf. While the name may not directly correlate with the architectural design, it was chosen during a period when our client was delving into golfing. In response, we integrated a dedicated space in the central part of the landscape for practicing with irons such as PW, AW, and Sand – a haven for honing golf skills within 100 yards.
Situated in the vibrant locale of Canggu, this house was crafted to accommodate four bedrooms, along with a living room, kitchen, dining area, bar, music room, and an office. We strategically positioned the office at the topmost level to ensure privacy while providing the best panoramic views of the surrounding paddy fields.
Connecting the children's bedrooms is a closed corridor that also houses the main door for secure access to all rooms. This thoughtful design ensures that even if one of the children forgets to lock their door, security is maintained during the night. The main corridor remains inaccessible when locked, permitting access only to family members. Additionally, the property includes a staff house, storage facilities, and a well-organized garage.
Our primary focus was on natural lighting, allowing fresh air to circulate throughout the house. The incorporation of ample natural light not only provides a refreshing atmosphere but also allows for cross-ventilation in various sections of the house.
The architectural concept embodies a tropical modern style, characterized by vibrant colors and clean lines. We extensively used natural materials in the construction, complemented by the enchanting backdrop of the surrounding paddy fields. In this setting, anything we create becomes inherently beautiful, harmonizing with the natural splendor of the environment and the captivating views.
