The National Narcotics Board (BNN), abbreviated from Badan Narkotika Nasional, is a Non-Ministerial Government Institution in Indonesia. It is tasked with implementing government duties in preventing, eradicating the abuse, and trafficking of narcotics, psychotropics, precursors, and other addictive substances, excluding addictive substances for tobacco and alcohol. BNN is led by a chief who directly reports to the President.
The history of tackling the dangers of narcotics and its institutionalization in Indonesia began in 1971 with the issuance of Presidential Instruction (Inpres) Number 6 of 1971 to the Head of the National Intelligence Coordinating Agency (BAKIN) to address six prominent national issues. These included combating counterfeit money, addressing drug abuse, tackling smuggling, addressing juvenile delinquency, countering subversion, and monitoring foreigners.
We are proud to be part of BNN, and we are honored to serve the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia. Much has been accomplished by the head of BNN, Police Commissioner General Petrus R. Golose, during his over three-year leadership, from improving leadership systems, enhancing human resources, to upgrading infrastructure and building BNN facilities.
Our team, Jeghier Architect, was appointed as one of the expert groups specializing in infrastructure and building design. Among the facilities we improved and designed for BNN are:

Our architectural responsibilities extend to assessing all BNN buildings at the district, city, and provincial levels throughout the Republic of Indonesia. With thousands of BNN staff, including both civil servants and police, efficient circulation and space utilization are crucial. As architects, we are accountable for providing solutions to manage the high human traffic during their daily tasks within a building.
Architects play a crucial role in improving these facilities, especially when integrating them with existing structures that have been standing for several years.
